It has no Face
The new and 11th album by DUFFHUES, the darkest rocking troubadour from The Netherlands. Release 24 October 2025.
It has no Face is the new album by DUFFHUES. With songs including warmongers, faithful snake charmers, a catnapper, despots and apocalyptic imagery. DUFFHUES tells us the world has become a darker place, with a future without a face.
DUFFHUES’ previous album Warlock Enemy (2024) ended with the distorted and apocalyptic song Burn. The distorted sound continues on It has no Face, with electric guitars, irish bouzouki, rusty brown and crunchy vocals, and a low pitched stomp box mercilessly driving the urgence.
It has no Face counts 11 dark, atypical, story telling songs, with a reflective, existential view and melancholy feelings towards the world and its habitants. Songs whererin DUFFHUES’ punk rock roots echo unhindered, and recognisable as DUFFHUES-fiction.

Track list – One sentence about every track…

Theatre Off Grid – Mainstream culture is not for me.
Snakebitten – Possessed by the holy ghost.
It has no Face – The blues in a post-punkcalyptic landscape.
Smart – This world is a closed system of life and death.
14 (all humans are crazy) – After tracking down the catnapper, he realised 13 cats is sufficient.
Demon Witch – Stranded on a distant island, and prey to a horny witch.
Warmonger – Warmongers, instigators and hate brokers, sowing fear for their own gain.
The Bell – The sound of a bell, an explosion, the cathedral consumed by fames.
Many Lights – The city as the terminus of mankind, on a small blue ball in the ice cold universe.
Cat in Box – The question is not if the cat is in the box, but who put it in there.
Dark Powers – The proven recipe for despots who want to be remembered.
